Privacy Policy
Level One Construction Ltd. respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the control you have over it.
Effective August 15, 2026
01Information We Collect
We collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us, and only what we need to respond to you. This includes:
- Contact details — your name, email address, and phone number when you submit a contact form or consultation request.
- Project information — the project type, property details, budget range, timeline, and any description you provide about the work you are considering.
- Correspondence — emails, messages, and notes from calls or meetings related to your enquiry or project.
- Technical information — your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages visited, collected automatically when you browse the site.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in British Columbia, and we do not collect sensitive categories of information such as financial account numbers or government identifiers through this website.
02How We Use Your Information
We use the information you give us to:
- Respond to your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
- Prepare estimates, proposals, drawings, and contracts for your project.
- Communicate with you about work in progress, scheduling, and warranty matters.
- Meet our legal, insurance, permitting, and warranty obligations.
- Understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not use it to send you marketing you did not ask for — if we ever add a newsletter, it will be opt-in and you will be able to unsubscribe from any message.
03Consent
By submitting a form on this website you consent to us collecting and using your information for the purposes described above. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide you with a quote or continue work on a project.
06How Long We Keep It
We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to respond and to follow up on a potential project. Records connected to work we actually performed are kept considerably longer, because warranty, insurance, tax, and building-code obligations require it — including the statutory warranty periods that apply to residential construction in British Columbia.
When information is no longer needed for any legal or business purpose, we destroy or anonymize it.
07How We Protect It
We use reasonable physical, organizational, and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information: access limited to staff who need it, encrypted transmission of form submissions, and reputable hosting and email providers.
No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever become aware of a breach that creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as the law requires.
08Your Rights
Under Canadian privacy law you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and how it has been used.
- Request access to a copy of that information.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Withdraw your consent to our continued use of it, subject to legal and contractual limits.
- Make a complaint about how we have handled your information.
Write to us using the contact details below and we will respond within the timeframes set out in applicable privacy legislation. There is no charge for a reasonable access request.
09Links to Other Sites
Our site links to third-party websites, including our social media profiles, industry associations, and podcast hosts. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit from ours.
10Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The effective date at the top of this page will always show when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
